VETTEL COMANDA DOBRADINHA DA RED BULL NO GRID PARA O GRANDE PRÊMIO DA COREIA

Pista nova, filme antigo. E, mais uma vez, a Red Bull se impôs no treino classificatório. Vettel marcou a pole position para o Grande Prêmio da Coreia do Sul com uma volta perfeita, e terá a companhia do parceiro Webber na primeira fila no grid. Foi um dia em que deu tudo certo para a equipe das bebidas energéticas. Dessa vez, Vettel não errou. E, quando isso acontece, o alemão quase sempre acaba na pole. Webber também fez um bom trabalho, mas foi superado nos detalhes e ficou um décimo atrás do companheiro. Se dependesse apenas dos treinos classificatórios, o campeonato teria sido um passeio para a Red Bull. Pena que é não é bem assim…
O único piloto que chegou realmente perto de superar os carros da equipe foi Alonso, que precisou se contentar com o terceiro posto no grid. Apesar de ter perdido a primeira batalha, o espanhol mostrou muita velocidade e tem plenas chances de brigar pela vitória. Alonso cravou o melhor tempo no primeiro setor – o mais longo do circuito – e talvez só tenha perdido a pole porque marcou sua melhor volta antes de Vettel e Webber. Os pilotos da Red Bull tiveram uma chance a mais com o cronômetro já zerado e aproveitaram a pista mais limpa para passar Alonso. Se o espanhol tivesse tido uma última oportunidade, muito provavelmente teria conseguido se intrometer entre os pilotos da equipe austríaca.
Alonso permanece na briga, assim como Hamilton. As chances do inglês são mais remotas, mas ele também mostrou que pode sonhar com a vitória. Hamilton larga da quarta posição no grid e tem um carro que deve render melhor na corrida, num ritmo que será bem semelhante ao dos três primeiros. Outro piloto que também promete andar mais rápido neste domingo é Massa. O brasileiro fez um de seus melhores treinos do ano no “Q1″ e no “Q2″, mas não conseguiu ter uma volta limpa no “Q3″ e não passou de sexto no grid. Um resultado muito frustrante para Massa – que, dessa vez, mostrou claramente que poderia andar no ritmo de Alonso. De novo, porém, a diferença entre os dois pilotos da Ferrari foi bem considerável.

Com os problemas de Massa, Rosberg evoluiu para um excelente quinto. O alemão também ficou à frente de Button, que apareceu apenas num fraco sétimo. Pelo visto, o atual campeão será o primeiro dos candidatos ao título a cair fora da disputa: se continuar assim, ele não tem a menor chance. Completando os dez primeiros, Kubica veio em oitavo, com Schumacher em nono e Barrichello em décimo, todos os três com desempenhos bem razoáveis. Lá atrás, Di Grassi (22º) e Senna (24º) foram superados pelos companheiros. Nenhum dos dois tem muita chance na corrida, a não ser que algo espetacular aconteça.
Mesmo com seus dois pilotos na primeira fila, o chefe de equipe da Red Bull, Christian Horner, não vai ter uma noite tranquila de sono. A memória do choque entre Vettel e Webber no GP da Turquia continua viva em todos, e um novo acidente na Coreia seria fatal para as pretensões de ambos. Na largada, será interessante observar a postura do australiano: melhor ser agressivo e arriscar tudo pela liderança ou manter a calma para não colocar em risco a dobradinha da equipe no início da prova? Sem dúvida, o duelo dos dois será um dos grandes atrativos desta corrida. O asfalto sujo também vai criar uma dificuldade a mais para os pilotos que largarem no lado par do grid: Webber (2º), Hamilton (4º), Massa (6º) e companhia vão ter de batalhar muito para não perder posições na primeira volta. Certo mesmo é que o GP da Coreia tem pelo menos quatro pilotos – Vettel, Webber, Alonso e Hamilton – que entram na corrida para vencer. Na atual fase do campeonato, não dá mais para ser muito conservador. E isso deve transformar a corrida de Yeongam numa das melhores da temporada.
